Welcome to Mythic Island Press LLC
Aloha! My name is Linda Nagata. I'm a novelist and programmer, and also the principal founder of Mythic Island Press LLC, a family-owned online and print publishing venture. We are a fledgling business, just launched in January 2010. Currently we're in a state of transition as we pull together our organizational structure and establish our priorities for the year.
One of our primary goals is to bring back into print some of my novels originally published in the 1990s and now out of print. We hope to provide e-books and audio books as well as some print versions. Please note that we are not currently seeking other works of fiction or non-fiction, though this may change in the future. If you would like to be notified when books are released, please add your email address to our database. We anticipate only an occasional email announcement, and of course we won't share your address with anyone.
Our second major endeavor is to establish a highly selective stock photography and art print website specializing in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. We intend to feature the work of a limited number of skilled and experienced photographers in an artist-friendly venue designed to promote not just the photos and prints that appear on our website, but also the photographers themselves. We like to see artists thrive!
Finally, we are also bringing into existence a new website called HawaiiNavigator.com, exploring the plants, animals and places of our great state. Read more about it here.

Goddesses is a novella originally published in serial form at SciFi.com beginning July 4, 2000. It went on to become the first e-fiction to win a Nebula Award, and as a result, finally saw hardcopy publication in the Nebula Awards Showcase 2002.
