In science fiction and fantasy we like to create our own realities--and as in fiction, so in life? At Mythic Island Press LLC
we choose to believe there is still a place in the world for books made of paper, and to that end our goal for 2010 is to
bring back into print at least one neglected novel, and with luck, to present an entirely new book to the world.
Vast

Originally published by Bantam Books, Vast debuted to great acclaim and then disappeared almost immediately. We'd like to give it a second chance at life, and to that end it's our goal to bring it back into print in 2010.
The Wild
An original novel by Linda Nagata
Long promised and long delayed, we hope that The Wild will finally see print late in 2010.
E-Books
Yes, we love "real" books, but we are not opposed to change. E-books are convenient, they make minimal demands on resources and you don't have to wait for them to arrive in the mail. And, as our favorite soldier explained, it's a lot easier to pack your Kindle when shipping out to Afghanistan, than to bring along a shelf-full of books.
We have two titles currently available, with more to come.

Goddesses
Goddesses is a novella originally published in serial form at SciFi.com beginning July 4, 2000. It went on to become the first e-fiction to win a Nebula Award, and as a result, finally saw hardcopy publication in the Nebula Awards Showcase 2002.
